London Love: Striped Flare

Express striped flare black & white dress

I just returned from a lovely trip to London. It was my first time visiting there and I loved everything about the city and people. I can't wait to share more photos from the trip once I get a chance to sort through them. As I may have mentioned previously, I can't get enough of stripes at the moment. I was drawn to this dress since it combined my adoration of flared skirts/dresses and stripes. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Black & White Florals

black & white mirrored floral pencil skirt

I'm able to get away with wearing the more trendy mirrored floral pattern at my conservative work place with the pattern being toned down with a classic white and black color combination.

Heels are always fun, but sometimes flats are more preferable, especially on days when I know I'll be on my feet most of the time. I've been searching for a good black patent bow tie flats for a while with the perfect amount of pointed toe-ness (not too round or too pointy). I finally found these Anne Klein flats that embody all the characteristics that I've been looking for. They remind me a little bit of the pricier Salvatore Ferragamo Varina flats with the clean cut bow ties. Thanks for reading!

Modern Day Ballerina

Wearing this skirt reminds me of my childhood days of playing ballerina, and I can't help but feel a sense of cheerfulness reminiscing with the skirt on. Perhaps it's the combination of the fullness of the A-line skirt, the hint of tulle, and its soft pink color that does it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
